The Chinese Backstreet Boys

Two Chinese boys have made a spoof music video of Backstreet Boys' song "As Long As You Love Me" and it's actually really funny. Maybe it's all the time spent in Taiwan, but I am thoroughly entertained by them. They have a handful of songs they've done, and they are now making commercials for cell phones in China. There is a WEBSITE that has all their videos, stats, and info that you can go look at as well. Do it now...you won't regret it.

Tijuana, Mexico at the Centro Cultural. We saw an IMAX movie called "La Fuerzas de la naturaleza," and if it would have been in English, it would have been narrated by Kevin Bacon. Too bad. We decided to forego the tourist street in TJ and venture into the actual city. Once you get off la Revolucion, the rest of the city is pretty cool. There was even a statue of Abraham Lincoln on the street of heroes. Posted by Picasa

Trick-or Treat!!! Jane (left) and Beth (right) are the girls I live with and nanny. For Halloween, Beth was Princess Leia, and Jane was...a 7th grader. Lilly was just a shivering chihuahua. It was pretty cold trick-or-treating, but nothing like Utah cold on Halloween. There is a street in Redlands called Olive Avenue with lots of old Victorian houses (even more than the rest of the city) and they close off the whole street to traffic so billions of people can run around. And run around they did. There were HUGE lines at some of the doors of the houses. Posted by Picasa

Jay and I met up with his sister Kim and her husband Todd and went to Disneyland. They were there for a few days for their anniversary, and Jay and I decided to tag along for one of the days. Posted by Picasa

Todd, Kim, and Jay in front of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Did you know someone died on that?? Well, lucky for us, we made it through safely. Posted by Picasa

"Fat Jay" in action...after a long day in Disneyland, Jay, Kim, Todd, and I met up with Nathan and ate at Tony Roma's. Jay got a little excited about all the meat and he couldn't decide...the barbequed beef sandwich, or the steak...hmmm... Posted by Picasa

Me and Jay on the slides at the playground. Alison Mendoza, who is seven years old, took this picture. Pretty impressive, eh? Posted by Picasa

Solomon Mataitusi...obviously unhappy with the playground.  Posted by Picasa

Before I moved out to California in October I watched Christine and Brian one morning...oh, sibling love... Posted by Picasa
