{Roll Tide}

My sister graduated with her Master's from the University of Alabama this summer, and we had a graduation party for her. I made her a semi-crimson-cake to celebrate her Bama pride. The attempt at burgundy turned out a little more brown and purple than anticipated. Eh. Good first attempt at a red-type color.

{The chocolate letters spell "congraduations," which Emily wanted represented somewhere :}

{The happy graduate with the lovely pastry}

My other party contribution: Candy Graduation Caps

Candy Graduation Caps

Ingredients and Supplies:
Mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
Wilton Candy Melts in Light Cocoa
Mini brown M&Ms
Sour Power Belts (or any other kind of flat candy you can make into strips)
Wilton Silicone Brownie-Squares Baking Mold

1} Melt Candy Melts in a disposable decorating bag and squeeze a small amount into openings of the brownie squares mold- enough in each to make a flat square for the tops of the hats. Chill until hard.
2} Unwrap Reese's
3} Squeeze a small amount of melted chocolate onto the small flat side of the Reese's PB cup and attach the flat cap top to the PB cup.
4} Squeeze a small amount of melted chocolate and attach the tassel. Squeeze a small amount more on top of the tassel and attach the M&M.
